Visitors From Ohio
Seven guests from the NW Ohio area recently visited. They had busy schedules in order to see a glimpse of what we do at PEN Trust. They helped in various activities, including stamping and sorting books, distributing books, teddy bears and food among other things.

Jeannine Leckrone did medical checks on site workers and other staff. She was assisted by Grace Shaidi Mungwe, Mungwe’s wife, who helped translate all of her patients.

Martin Luther School is a past recipient of 553 books from PEN Trust. Martin Luther is an English medium school where Donna Marie Lossing Jones spent the day doing teacher training and sitting in on classes.

925 books were delivered to Mnadani Primary School.
Students were busy cleaning, as school was closed for the day due to the fact that President Jakaya Kikwete was visiting the area the next day.
3,146 books have been delivered to Msalato Girl’s Secondary School over the past few years.
Pastor Bliss had the students’ attention answering questions and looking at some of the books that were just delivered.
At the end of their visit, the Ohio guests thanked the girls for sharing their study time with us and encouraged them to keep studying and reaching for their goals.
